aeioTU chairman receives Jacobs Foundation Award Nomination
Nathalia Mesa Gärtner, Chairman of aeioTU, has been nominated by the Jacobs Foundation for the Klaus J. Jacobs Award. This Swiss foundation, world leader in the field of child and youth development, will commemorate the tenth anniversary of the loss of its founder Klaus J. Jacobs with a special award ceremony on November 30, 2018, in which 10 prices will be awarded to social innovators and change creators in the field of child and youth development. Each prize is CHF 100'000.
Mesa is part of the group of 50 nominees who were shortlisted, who share a commitment to generating social changes; and who have made those dreams of transforming communities come true by providing sustainable and replicable solutions for the positive development of children and young people.
In aeioTU we receive this news full of joy and pride because the nomination represents a very important recognition of the work that Nathalia led with our team during the last 10 years; and thanks to which we have managed to impact the lives of more than 122,000 children and their families.
